Finding our Voice, Wednesday 22nd April, 7pm online (free)

Tonight LGBT History NI mark Lesbian Visibility Week with guest speaker Marie Quiery. Marie was a founding member of LASI (Lesbian Advocacy Services Initiative) re-named HEReNI. In this online meeting Marie will focus on some historic events that gave lesbians more visibility and will give audience members a chance to reflect on how they found their voices as lesbian women.

This ONLINE ‘video conferencing’ event is arranged by Richard O’Leary of the LGBT Heritage Project and co-hosted with HEReNI. The event is open to all lesbian and bisexual women.

For cinema lovers, Outburst Arts are experimenting with ways to bring Queer cinema and audiences together whilst physically distancing. Tonight at 8pm there will be a discussion of Portrait Of A Lady On Fire. Follow Outburst Arts on facebook for details of how to join in.
