Regular film screenings return to Portaferry

A member of FilmHubNI, the Portico centre is Portaferry's new arts and heritage centre and will be a must-visit destination for film afficionados. The centre is situated in the town's beautifully renovated, former Presbyterian Church. Built in 1841 and designed in the Greek Revival style, Portico provides a most singular setting to enjoy a film, or any cultural event.
The centre will be showing children's films every Saturday morning at 11am, classic films for adults every Friday evening at 8pm and Silver Screen stars every Tuesday afternoon at 2pm.
In March alone, forthcoming film attractions include 1954's original - and, in our humble opinion, never bettered - Godzilla (04 March); children's favourite The Water Babies (12 March) and James Cagney in sumptuous film noir, White Heat (08 March).
Full film listings for the centre can be found here.
