Step inside the mind of a film genius

In 1962 a remarkable encounter took place in Hollywood between two of cinema's titans, Alfred Hitchcock and François Truffaut. Locked away together for a week, Truffaut set about questioned the 'Master of Suspense', hoping to discover the secrets behind the mise-en-scène in cinema.
Based on the original recordings of this meeting – used to produce the mythical book Hitchcock/Truffaut – this documentary grants the viewer a passport to the world of the creator of Psycho, Rear Window and Vertigo.
Hitchcock’s innovative appraoch to film-making and legacy are further explored in the film by many of the day's leading directors, including Martin Scorsese, David Fincher and Wes Anderson.
