For the purpose of the Materialities of History project, artist Ulrika Ferm primarily focused on films made or used by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board to tempt tourists to our shores. The original films are gathered in this collection for you to enjoy in full. 

To contrast this promotional vision of our coast Ferm selected films from across the Digital Film Archive ranging from home movies to Ulster Television broadcasts. This is the carefully constructed showreel that was shown on a television in the gallery.
