Description

In 2025, a school holds a class election. The students learn about the first Irish vote which women could participate in, and the historical context which gives weight to the election of Countess Markievicz.

Made as part of the Entwined Futures Project, delivered by Co-operation Ireland.

This project brought together students from schools in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, to explore themes of citizenship, identity and sovereignty through the lens of the past.
