Description

An army driver is awarded a medal at Thiepval Barracks. He receives his medal from Lieutenant-General Sir Richard Neville Anderson. 

Notes

Lieutenant-General Sir Richard Neville Anderson KCB CBE DSO (28 September 1907 – 4 September 1979) was a senior officer of the British Army who served in the Second world War and later achieved high office in the 1960s. He was General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Ireland Command in 1963 and he retired in 1965.
