Description

Lord Basil Brookeborough speaks to William McGookin on a myriad of matters including his memories of 1921 and working with a Labour government in the light of the recent general election that saw Labour come to power under Harold Wilson. That result was not confirmed at the time of this interview so he explains his thoughts on the potential new Labour government and how the current Northern Ireland Prime Minister Terence O’Neill should approach working with them. He also speaks on how Northern Ireland is going at this time and the need for continuing investment.
