Description

Cathal O'Shannon, Donal Toolin and Cathal O'Shannon present this travel series which explores destinations at home and abroad, with information provided on typical budgets and holiday package deals.

Beginning in Menorca, "the Mediterranean's best kept secret" with it only welcoming 10% of the visitor’s to the Balearic Islands. Donal explores the island and its spectacular settings, including its gorgeous beaches and lush countryside. He also reviews some of the hotels facilities for disabled travellers and things to watch out for.

Next, Shauna is in Co. Derry, and recommends taking the train to get there for good sight seeing. Here, there's an abundance of countryside to explore with picturesque thatch cottages and grand houses dating back to the plantation dotted about and Olly McGilloway even makes an appearance to chat about the landscape. One must see in the county is Magilligan's strand, the longest beach in Northern Ireland!

Ending the episode is Cathal in the English Lake District, who stays at photographer's home who runs a guesthouse business and leads his "flock of enthusiasts" to the best photo spots.
