Description

The Brookmount was a 995 tonne coaster owned by the Belfast Steamship Company travelling the Belfast to Liverpool route. She is seen here being loaded with cargo, but she would be in the news the following year in 1964 when she collided with a revetment wall in the River Mersey and returned to Belfast docks for inspection.
