Description

The future of Harland & Wolff is in crisis following the announcement of trading losses of £750,000. 12,500 workers now face the threat of job losses.

Trade Unionist Andy Barr talks to Robin Walsh about the loans offered by the Stormont government. He does not believe this will be enough to solve the problems facing the shipyard.

Minister for Commerce, Brian Faulkner, believes the government aid offered is a good start and he hopes for the approval to offer more. He insists this is not an indication of a lack of faith in the current Board.
