Description

Dr Derek Rebbeck, Chair of Harland & Wolff, gives a speech to the Belfast Rotary Club at the Grand Central Hotel. He disputes that the shipbuilding industry is a dying one. But despite listing a number of yards already gone, he is hopeful that a breakthrough in labour relations is possible (new technology had brought about a number of redundancies) and that Harland & Wolff will not perish.
