Description

Do you like butter? Then this is the film for you. Follow a herd of cows grazing at the end of a rainbow to discover how their milk is turned into a crock of gold. Take a closer look at each stage of the scrupulously clean production line that creates Farmlea butter. Don't forget to listen out in the laboratory for sound effects that give you a tiny taste of the special effects wizardry of Roy Spence.

Notes

Twin brothers Roy and Noel Spence have been making films like this for over fifty years; with subjects including crafty leprechauns, creatures from outer space, fifties rock 'n' rollers and the undead. You can enjoy many of these fantastical creations on the Digital Film Archive and the IFI player.
