Description

This little film tells the story of a young ornithologist who discovers a ‘bomb’ in Ballykinler, county Down. The bomb disposal squad are called out to deal with it in a rather haphazard manner.

The film isn’t in sequence so cuts back to the boy’s home as he prepares for his day out birdwatching. We also see the bomb squad on their way from Thiepval Barracks in Lisburn.

The film includes lovely shots of the beach and coastal areas around Ballykinler and Dundrum.
