Description

A very brief piece of footage of Sergeant Jelly. There were no notes on this piece of film, but newspaper reports from the time reveal that a ticking box was left in Belfast City Hall and a message phoned through that it was a bomb. Detective Sergeant Jelly carried the package to the River Lagan and opened it to find that it was hoax and merely an alarm clock.
