Reenactments show the signing of the Anglo-Irish Treaty, and the disparate opinions on freedom and consequent violence. Finally, the film returns to the classroom as students discuss identity today.

This project brought together students from schools in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, to explore themes of citizenship, identity and sovereignty through the lens of the past.
