In this sepia-toned film, we see a reenactment of the assassination of Franz Ferdinand and the consequences of the First World War. This film explores issues of sovereignty and identity during the war, and the signing of the Peace Treaty in 1918.

Made as part of the Entwined Futures Project, delivered by Co-operation Ireland.

This project brought together students from schools in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, to explore themes of citizenship, identity and sovereignty through the lens of the past.
