Interview with Edward Martell, British politician and former journalist, on the possible closure of the Northern Whig newspaper. 

Notes

The Northern Whig was a daily newspaper published in Belfast from 1832 until 1963. It was seen to represented liberal and unionist views. Its final location was on Bridge Street and the building is now the site of the Northern Whig bar. 

Edward Martell was a British Liberal politician and journalist. He was strongly anti-trade union and a libertarian activist.
