Description

In ‘Far Isle’, a young girl called Fern is fed-up of everything, until a great storm and some new friends help her to see the magic in the everyday.

Far Isle was created as a fictionalised microcosm of many young adults’ experiences today. Many choose to leave these shores in the hope of finding a better life elsewhere, only to find that through financial, political, or family reasons that they have to move back. However, broadening our horizons and experiencing new things can often increase the appreciation of what we once had. There is no place like home.
