Precocious schoolboy Francis Grimp enters a storytelling competition in an attempt to win glory and best playground bully, Leslie.
Whilst getting creative inspiration from his fellow classmates, he spots Elva Sweetlove and, as he sets out to win her affections, he in turn unleashes his "superior literary skills"!
