Description

The Golfing Greats series features in-depth interviews with some of the best known golf players in the world.

This episode covers Henry Cotton's career. Sir Thomas Henery Cotton MBE was an English professional golfer. He won the Open Championship in 1934, 1937 and 1948, becoming the leading British player of his generation. In total, he won 37 tournaments in his career. The Rookie of the Year award in the European Tour is named after him. 

Cotton was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1980. He was knighted in the New Year's Day Honours of 1988, named a Knight Bachelor.
