Description

Through voiceover, group members talk about their favourite memories of Include Youth, including volunteering, the Big Day Out and winning the Paddy Mooney Cup. They talk about the skills they have gained by being part of the Give & Take project, such as an increase in confidence and language skills.

We see clips of the group on days out on go-karts, bouncy castles, making cup cakes, playing basketball and football, and finally some photographs of the group.

Notes

Include Youth is a rights-based charity for children and young people in or leaving care, from disadvantaged communities or whose rights are not being met. They work to improve employability, personal and social development enhancing inclusion, integration and good relations. Include Youth influences public policy led by the voice of children and young people, evidence based practice and international children’s rights standards.

Their Give & Take programme improves the employability and increases the self-esteem and confidence of young people aged 16+, who are not ready to take part in a training course, attend college or move into work.
