Leslie Dawson visits Cookstown to investigate whether the local Indian community have found it easy to settle in Northern Ireland. He finds that children have easily made the step of integrating into the local schools and that the businessmen are well respected in the area.
Mr Bedi is interviewed outside thw town hall, which also occasionally doubles up as a place of Hindu worship. He paints a happy picture of his life in Northern Ireland, his work in the local Trade Association and how his daughter has even joined the Brownies and taken up Irish dancing.
Mr Chada from Castledawson is also interviewed about his reasons for coming to Northern Ireland and his happiness with how he has been welcomed. His two sons, Val and Jav share their experiences of the local school and their career aspirations for the future.
Meanwhile, a local councillor, Alex Connell, speaks about how the political neutrality of Mr Bedi has been a bonus in his work on the Trade Association.
