Description

Doreen Douglas interviewed the supreme golden couple of 1960s classical music for this UTV feature. Jacqueline Du Pre is still regarded today as one of the greatest cellists to have ever performed while her husband Daniel Barneboim, whom she married two years before this interview, remains a giant of the conducting world over fifty years later.

This report was shot for a UTV afternoon magazine series called Set Fair and is one of only a small handful of surviving elements from the series.
