Gerry Kelly welcomes his guests and the studio audience to explore the social class structure. In the first part of the programme, Kelly refers back to the topic discussed in the previous episode, corporal punishment, and the viewers reactions to it. Regular Kelly’s Eye segment offers some of these views. The discussion moves on to the topic of the day – social classes. What is the difference between working, middle and upper class? How do you define class? What’s the social class structure like in Northern Ireland? These are just some of the questions that the guests and the studio audience discuss.
