Reporter Doreen Douglas examines the new Ford Capri and gives it a particular look over with respect to lady drivers. Unfortunately, Doreen herself didn’t drive so the director of the report, UTV stalwart Andy Crockart, had to take over the drivers’ seat for the actual road testing.

This report was shot for a UTV afternoon magazine series called Set Fair and is one of only a small handful of surviving elements from the series. It contains film damage at various points near the beginning where the visuals are lost. However, we felt it would be a shame to lose this report with its excellent shots of 1960s fashion and an iconic car and have presented it in full.
