Description

Storyteller Nuala O’Toole recounts the tale of the Lady of the Lake. On the shores of Fermanagh’s beautiful Lough Erne, a child was born with the gift of second sight. She grows into an insightful young woman and prophesies her death at the hands of a jealous man. Despite this ominous prediction, she is loved and cherished. After a violent encounter with a man who repeatedly asks for her hand in marriage, she dies and requests to be buried on Devinish Island. During her wake, her coffin is lost in the waters of Lough Erne, and it's believed her spirit haunts the area. Years later, a fisherman who dismisses the story experiences supernatural events on the lake and becomes a believer.
