Description

This compilation reel of rushes from Let’s Look at Ulster: Seaside Towns builds a great picture of what was on offer for holidaymakers along the Northern Irish coastline in 1970’s. Join in the beach hopping from Portstewart and Portrush to Bangor and Rostrevor as crowds of holidaymakers sunbathe, swim and enjoy the moment. Children and adults, although quite sunburnt, make the best of the summer sun as they’re frolicking in the sea, building sandcastles, riding donkeys, eating ice-cream and sailing.

The footage also includes various views of Northern Irish seaside towns and their high streets and a variety of tourist attractions on offer. From Phils Amusements in Portrush to Rostrevor Hotel and holiday caravan homes, this tour of County Antrim and County Down coastline is full of great holiday ideas.
