Description

Maxine Mawhinney presents this series for school leavers.

This episode focuses on maintaining - and making - friendships after you leave education. Hear from a range of people, from those who are in the work place, to those who have just finished university or school, to learn how they've navigated relationships in the "real" world.

Back in the studio, professionals who work with young people give their input into the matter, with Ann Gray [North West College], Pip Jaffa [Parents Advice Centre], Brian Caul [University of Ulster] and Dorothy Whittington [University of Ulster] all having various tips and sage advice for parents and young people a like.

Concluding the episode, we are reminded that friendships are a basic human need and create better mental health and happiness.
