Description

At Ulster Weavers linen plant on the Linfield Road, we find out more about the "40 30 scheme", which allowed local businesses to carry out market research and create marketing materials to broaden their customer reach. A minister who visits the plant, hails it as a "flag bearer" of the scheme as it has increased turnover, profits and jobs through the government initiative.

Speaking to Mr Eaken, part of the management of the plant, he tells UTV how the research they carried out can be seen in the sales, and it was used not only for the designs of the products, but also the branding.
