Description

Charming footage from the village of Seaforde in Co Down. There, it had been noticed that lots of very small children had been playing in the street with not much to do and hanging around the Young Farmers' Club. While there was a Junior Young Farmers' Club, the children were under twelve and thertefore too young to join. The solution? A Mini Young Farmers' Club!

UTV's Leslie Dawes interviews Anne Hay about how she set up the venture and we see the very well organised meeting of the Mini Farmers themselves including the approval of minutes and a debate about whether it is better to live in the country or in a town. The meeting closes with the children singinging their Mini Famers song!
