Description

HMS Centaur and other ships take part in Home Fleet exercises in the Irish Sea. This was to be her last trip as she was sold for scrap soon after. Centaur was built by H&W in 1944.

Jimmy Robinson is on board with UTV and other visitors observe the exercises up close.

The footage of planes on the aircraft carrier is very impressive.

Credits

An Ulster Television Production.
