Excellent match footage of the British Championship game between Northern Ireland and Wales at a packed Windsor Park on 3 April 1963. The Northern Ireland team was managed at the time by one of the stars of their 1958 World Cup campaign, Bertie Peacock. In the team was one of the last veterans of that team, Jimmy McIlroy, alongside future Spurs, Arsenal and Northern Ireland manager Terry Neill.
Unfortunately, the home crowd didn't have much to cheer on this occasion with Wales running out 4-1 winners and Cliff Jones scoring a hat trick. Martin Harvey, a future assistant manager to Billy Bingham at ther 1982 World Cup, scored the consolation goal for Northern Ireland.
