Description

A film by Samuel Bracegirdle, showing a polling station outing to the Silent Valley and Tollymore Forest Park in 1962. 

They go on to visit Carlingford Lough and The Great Northern Hotel at Rostrevor and taking a trip across the lough to Omeath.

Notes

Samuel Bracegirdle was an amateur filmmaker from Belfast, his work dates from the 1950s to the 1970s. Many of his films show his home life and holidays with family and friends. He also took an interest in local history and Unionist heritage.
