Description

This video is comprised of segments shot for a documentary about Derry's music scene. Paul McLoone, the radio producer and future lead singer of The Undertones, shows us around an early version of the Nerve Centre. Formally Graham Hunter's Shirt Shop, the Nerve Centre was to become a central part of the city's cultural life and development. We can see a music producer refining a track. McLoone also takes us to The Gweedore Bar, a famous spot to see bands and hear up-and-coming acts, and Shipquay Street. Finally, McLoone introduces us to Locky Morris, the Derry artist.
