Keith Burnside and police advice on how to stay safe over Christmas and what precautions to take to discourage opportunist thieves. Eugene Kearney, acting chief superintendent, talks about the unnecessary risk of drink driving, what to expect if stopped at a checkpoint and reiterates the advice of the day – do not drink and drive. Sam Young, detective chief inspector, advises on what steps to take to keep your house safe during this festive period including quality locks and outdoor lighting.
