Description

Ernest Strathdee presented this report for UTV on the new massive air freighter being built at Short Harland in Belfast. It was known as “The Belfast” and it was something of a gamble for the company. With a double deck inside it was aimed squarely at transporting military vehicles but only ten had been ordered at this point with thirty being considered the break-even point.

An Ulster Television Production.
