Join Frank Mitchell as he meets the pupils of Portstewart Primary. As well as a visit to their school, the cameras capture the children performing songs and sketches in studio as well as being interviewed. Among those sharing their hopes and dreams of the future are Christopher McNeill, Richard Nicholl, Patrick Farell, Stephen Toms, Glyn Davidson, Louise McIlreavy, Joe McGowan, Paris Dunlop, Julie Allison and Heather Porter. 

School Around the Corner was one of UTV's most popular programmes. Running from 1997 to 2005, it was feelgood and wholesome entertainment on Sunday evenings and is a constant source of requests on the Digital FIlm Archive as the now very much grown up participants seek out the footage of simpler times from their youth.
