A companion piece to our other clip featuring skating on Ballysaggart at Dungannon. No minis driving on the ice in this clip but the sense of fun is just the same. Starting with people attempting to feed swans on a frozen River Lagan, it then moves onto the skating fun and there is something romantic about watching couples skating round hand in hand as the sun sinks low in the sky. Even in the midst of the Big Freeze, the harshest and longest cold snap in memory at that time, people still enjoyed a sense of playfulness.
