Description

UTV reporter Charles Witherspoon visits the town of Dungannon in Co Tyrone to explain why it doesn’t have a town hall and of the various plans over the years to provide one which came to nothing. He also speaks to Jack Hazard of the local Northern Ireland Labour Party who says that he has made it a campaign issue. At the time of the report the council didn’t even have proper administrative facilities and were operating out of rooms above the Castle Cinema. The views of this long gone cinema will be sure to interest picture house historians.
