Description

This silent news footage from UTV shows the excitement building on 8 November 1963 as fans prepared to see The Beatles play the ABC cinema in Belfast. Outside, fans were already queuing while the Fab Four had arrived early to take in the venue and meet the press. The Beatles were all keen home movie fans and John Lennon can be seen filming the events for his own collection. Does that colour film still exist? It would be wonderful to see it.
