Description

Fearghal McKinney introduces viewers to the extensive UTV art  collection which, at the time, was one of the biggest, private corporate collections in the UK.

Notes

The collection was begun in the very first year of UTV. The first Chair, the Earl of Antrim, was encouraged by his wife - herself an artist - to acquire works to hang on the bare walls of the recently completed Havelock House.

The programme features works by William Conor, F.E. McWilliam and T.P. Flanagan.
