Description

Leslie Dawes reports on the sport of indoor bowls. He talks to Irish international Percy Watson about the difference between it and lawn bowls. Percy makes it sound like a wonderful sport to take up.

Notes

Percy Watson represented Ireland in four Commonwealth games. He won a silver medal in the fours at the 1934 British Empire Games in London. Twenty years later he won a gold medal in the pairs at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, with William Rosbotham.
