Description

UTV star Tommy James visits Portrush and Mrs Allam who expounds on the delights of the area. Mrs Allam wants to hear “When I Rule the World’. Next Tommy meets Pauline Hunt who requests, “I Believe”. Tommy also meets Mrs Livingstone, a hotelier, and her daughter Betty. The Livingstones want to hear, “Red Sails on the Sunset”. 

Notes

Tommy James was a well-known face on UTV. His show, Teatime with Tommy, was on every weekday evening. Tommy would travel across Northern Ireland taking requests and then guest singers would perform them in the studio with Tommy on piano.
