Description

 A film by Samuel Bracegirdle.

Samuel, and a friend, Brian, drive through an area known as the ‘Plains of Heaven’. They see a steam train in the distance.

Some young relatives sing for the camera, and they watch some trains passing the station.

Notes

Samuel Bracegirdle was an amateur filmmaker from Belfast, his work dates from the 1950s to the 1970s. Many of his films show his home life and holidays with family and friends. He also took an interest in local history and Unionist heritage.
