In the days following the signing of the Anglo-Irish
Agreement between the governments of the United Kingdom and the Republic of
Ireland, the Unionist parties began to solidify their plans for opposition to
it. Despite damage to the source videotape, this Good Evening Ulster report is
included as it contains footage of the famous 'Ulster Says No' poster campaign
being implemented.
At a DUP press
conference, leader Ian Paisley outlines the party's policy of withdrawing from
various governmental structures as well as talking about the forthcoming City
Hall rally. Deputy leader Peter Robinson also speaks to protest against the
removal of the poster from various locations by the RUC.
