Description

If you are leaving school, then this is probably the first time you will be managing your own finances. Whether it’s grants, scholarships or pay checks there is a lot to learn. In this edition of Which Way Now, Maria McCann seeks answers with regards to financial issues facing young people.

In the studio, Maria meets Brian Loretto from the Department for Education who advises on how to apply for a grant and explains who is eligible for full or partial grant. There is also news of more jobs on offer and at a video job search unit more young people with a message for employers watching. Finally, this week’s job spot focuses on a career in journalism and looks at experiences of a young reporter for weekly newspaper.
