Description

At the start of the Sixties, Ulster Television’s most popular programme was the traditional music series With a Fiddle and a Flute (1961 - 1964).

It was also the first network programme made by Ulster Television. A professional tenor, Peter Tomelty, was the host of this popular television series - it even beat Coronation Street in the ratings!

Set in a farmyard-style kitchen, this episode features Maureen Tyson, Teresa Clifford, Sean Maguire, Mary McEvoy, Thompson Twins (Elaine and Derek) and the Arthur Burns' Traditional Dancers.
