Description

At the start of the sixties, UTV’s most popular programme was the traditional music series With a Fiddle and a Flute (1961 - 1964). It was also the first network programme made by the Ulster Television. A professional tenor, Peter Tomelty, was the host of this popular television series - it beat even Coronation Street ratings.

Sets in a farmyard style kitchen, this episode features Maureen Tyson, Teresa Clifford, Sean Maguire, Mary McEvoy, Thompson Twins, Elaine and Derek and the Arthur Burns Traditional Dancers.
