Dreams Rewired screening and director Q&A

In association with Ulster University Festival of Art and Design
The glorious Tilda Swinton narrates Dreams Rewired, a new documentary that attempts to unpick the origins of today's hyper-connected world.
Using rare - and often unseen - archival material from more than 200 films, Dreams Rewired takes us back to the advent of mediums such as the moving image and telephone and explores how they would soon become vehicles for our dreams, desires and anxieties.
The film was made by Manu Luksch, the pioneering Austrian filmmaker who first came to prominince with Faceless (2007), her "science-fiction fairytale," created entirely from images of real life captured by CCTV cameras.
Following the screening, Dr. Daniel Jewesbury will chair a Q&A with Luksch.
Dreams Rewired is showing at the QFT on Friday, 11 March at 18:30.
