P A MagLochlainn and Pride in Belfast
Date: 28/07/2022 00:00
PRONI and Northern Ireland Screen are teaming up to celebrate the work of P A MagLochlainn and Pride in Belfast.
P A MagLochlainn was pivotal in bringing Pride to Belfast more than 30 years ago. Join us for this online event where you will see footage of P A from the UTV archive and items from his collection of papers at PRONI (D4779) deposited in 2021.
Grace Gordon, who catalogued PA's collection at PRONI, will talk through some of the highlights and Sinéad Bhreathnach-Cashell from Northern Ireland Screen will be providing clips from the UTV archive.
Thursday 28th July 2022, from 7-8pm. Please note this event is online only. Tickets will be available until one hour before the event begins. The zoom link will also be issued one hour before the beginning of the event. Register for a free ticket here
