Promoting the 7th Celtic Film Festival

With the awards for the Celtic Media Festival due to be hosted online this evening, we look back at a promotional video for its forerunner, the Celtic Film Festival.
In 1986, the festival was took place at the Slieve Donard Hotel, in Newcastle, County Down. The film uses some extracts from an earlier Tourist Board film, The Quiet Land, mixed with new footage and a very poetic Gerry Kelly voiceover.
